A Parisian Kitchen.

If you saw my last post, you'll know I was in Paris a few weeks back, staying in an Air BnB and pretending to be Parisian for the weekend! Inspired by that, I have put together a little design board for a Parisian apartment kitchen.
As I mentioned before, there is a lot of history in Paris. The buildings are beautiful but are more than capable of serving modern life. I have noticed that in Parisian apartments, there is a nice mix of antique/flea market finds with new pieces of modern furniture and some quirky, arty bits and pieces thrown in. A good collection. My imaginary apartment has a classically Parisian base for my design, with dark wood floors and traditional wooden shutters, a view over the lovely rooftops of Paris and down to a beautiful courtyard garden. I have moved more towards the contemporary look with the pieces I have selected, to contrast with the age of the space.
Let me know if you like it!
